At first, I saw yoga merely as a series of static poses and slow movements. As I deepened my practice, I realized yoga is much more: an integrative discipline that combines asanas (physical postures), pranayama (conscious breath control), and dhyana (meditation). These elements work together to balance the nervous system and harmonize the connection between body, mind, and spirit. This synergy promotes neuroplasticity, reduces stress, and fosters a profound transformation of consciousness, leading to a lasting state of balance.

From the rhythm of the body to the calm of the mind

My name is Milena Dumitrescu, and my story began at the age of five, when I first stepped into a gymnastics hall. By the time I was twelve, I was already part of Romania’s national artistic gymnastics team — an experience that taught me discipline, strength, and control over my body.

Over the years, however, I felt the need to go beyond physical movement and explore a deeper, inner dimension. That’s how I discovered yoga, which became both my path and my mission.

I trained in France with a 200-hour YTTC course, where I discovered Ashtanga Yoga and fell in love with it instantly. It sparked in me a deep desire to explore and learn more about yoga, which led me to India. There, I continued my studies with a 300-hour YTTC course in Rishikesh — the cradle of traditional yoga.

Today, I teach various styles — from Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha to Yin and Restorative — weaving together a therapeutic, energetic, and spiritual approach. Each practice becomes an invitation to turn inward, to breathe with awareness, and to move with presence — a gentle return to the wisdom of the body.
